Dear Heartland Zone Personnel and Franchisees:
I am pleased to announce the following positions that have been filled within the Heartland Zone and are effective immediately.
Jim Doederlein has accepted the position of Market Manager for Market 1912. Jim joined 7-Eleven in 2011 as Director of Strategic Planning. In this role, he developed long-term strategy for SEI to include performing competitive analyses and keeping current on macro economy, retail/competitor and consumer trends. Additionally, he performed as the Strategic Planning lead for the Global Expansion Team. Jim’s most recent role with 7-Eleven has been operating as an MMT. Before joining 7-Eleven, Jim was the Director of Operations and Control for the Mid-Pacific/Japan Divisions of DFS Group and was in a variety of Strategy and Planning roles for PepsiCo and Yum! Brands International. Jim began his career out of grad school with Ford Motor Company. He received his BA from Wayne State University and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania. Jim is married with three children.
Judy Avila has accepted the position of Zone Merchandising Leader for the Heartland Zone. Judy joined 7-Eleven as a Store Manager in 1991. She has also served in the capacity of Field Consultant, Senior Field Consultant, Model Market Coordinator, AQIP Operations Manager, Field Merchandiser, Store Readiness Manager, and most recently, Franchise Sales Representative. Mike Dutrieux will be covering for Judy in the interim reporting to Scott Teachenor with a replacement to be announced soon.
